Thread Starter | 2" MRL rental (NYC)
Hey all, I need to rent a 2" MRL tape for a day in the next few weeks. Anyone in NYC wanna help an analog lover out? I just bought an MCI JH-24 and am having a tech come out and align it but I'm not ready to drop the cash on an MRL until I know the machine doesn't need any other major work. Thanks so much! You can rent or buy them from tapetape.com. Pretty reasonable and ships fast.

This is news to me. I didn't think anyone could "rent" and MRL alignment tape. There are just too many variables that can make a tape such as this useless to perform an accurate tape machine set-up. Most people renting things such as this are less careful with its use than some that actually own it. I have seven MRL alignment tapes that don't ever leave my shop. I'm happy you can find one though. Dennis |

Try Dreamhire, pretty sure they're in Long Island City. I've rented a 2" MRL from them before.
