Monitors distorting

Hey, i got some Adam a3x and a few days ago when was mixing a track i noticed the left monitor had a little bit low-end distortion. It's not alot but there is kind of click or a buzz. I dont mix at loud levels, and i got the kick in mono so i dont really understand why it happens...

Does anybody know why it happens and how i can fix this?

Thanks

Edit: Sorry for posting in the wrong section.

Follow manual procedure for matching input and output levels. Next, try swapping the input cables at the speaker end and see if the distortion follows the cable.

Resistance is not futile. It is voltage divided by current.

Ok,thanks for the reply. I swapped the cables and it's still the same. I'm starting to think something is wrong with the monitor...

If you are 100% certain that it is not a source issue and you have matched the input and output levels correctly, and something is still wrong, why not? More often than not these kinds of problems are an improper setup issue or a source issue, but stuff does break, and as stuff gets cheaper, it is less likely that the QC is the greatest.
