Be aware that most 414EBs don't have the brass-ring CK-12 capsule that makes this mic so special. Find a reasonably-priced 414EB (the silver body model, not the later black 414 EB P48) with the more common Teflon ring CK-12 and replace it with one of Tim Campbell's CT-12 capsules. We did that and use it interchangeably with a 414EB with the original brass CK-12.
