You certainly will not regret it. People always are about the top end, which is beautiful but I really love the mids! You can crank frequencies that, in normal circumstances, would turn into a cloud of mud or harshness. I find something else I love it on daily.

Finally...

After reading so much about the hammer , I bought the unit as my first outboard eq (beside the filters in my emt console) - and will probably get a EM-EQ2 in the near future. (Seen Ronans episode about pultecstyle eqs...)

Can“t wait to put it on the 2bus and track with it

BTW Would the clariphonic be a good addition to the hammer ? I have the kush fatso and love it.

Now I am thinking of getting a hammer after reading this thread.
It would be my first outboard EQ.
Is it easy to use?
