Should I buy 1073lb & lunchbox or Vintech x73 rack

Hi guys,
I know this is maybe a silly question, but which would you get?

I recently had to ditch a whole album due to legal issues and am trying to re-record everything fairly cheaply and so am trying to get a good vocal front end at home.

I'm planning on using a sm7 as my sound treatment is non existant and I've heard it's pretty good for ignoring background sounds.

I want to put it through a 1073 basically and I want to know in your opinion is the better investment out of a rack mount Vintech x73 (obviously has EQ and such) or a lunchbox and a 1073lb (more space for expandability, no eq though)? I haven't heard good things about the 573 so I'm discounting that and I'm also not so interested in the Great River MP-500NV.

The vintech and power supply costs about the same as a 1073lb and lunchbox.

Thanks

Mighty Zoltan

Hi Mighty!

I have the same question, I have a lunch box with a couple of preamps, I can't take a decision yet, I have 3k budget, this are my options:

1. BAE 1073 pre/eq 19" rack
2. vintech x73
3. neve serie 500 1073LBEQ and the 1073LB
