Altec p518 power supply

Hi all,

I've come across a few altec power supplies and was wondering if any DIY fun could be had from them, outside from using them to power a tube mic, can I pass audio through it for some fuzz?

This thing kinda peaked my interest since it has a high pass filter built in...thought about the possibilities in using it to do some slight audio processing?

Any tips, advice, project ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
