LA Studios?

With the demise of O' Henry Studios in Burbank, I'm looking for LA-area homes for two types of sessions:

1. High-end acoustic jazz session in a great-sounding room with good support staff.

2. singer/songwriter multi-track session to either PT or our supplied Sonoma DSD. We supply the engineer, mics, preamps, some outboard and maybe the monitors if needed. Overall sound of room not so important. $700 - $1000/day budget. Needs to be a technically solid facility.

Many thanks for help finding facilities to consider for these two sessions!

Consider the re-opened Mad Hatter, the Chick Corea studio. Very nice Steinway piano, Neve 8068, ton's of outboard, nice sounding room. Just don't get scared off by the Scientology folks running it. They still accept cash.

Greg Karukas has a nice place in his Granada Hills home, PT's, Yamaha C-2 piano, etc.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and PMs so far. I'm in a session into next week right now, so I'll respond to the PMs soon and we'll call the other places suggested.

Keep the ideas coming!
