Neve DPD

Hello, I have a question for Neve dpd (dpa) owners:
I'd like to know if line input and mic input can work independently if permanently plugged to the rack.
My aim is to use it both for tracking (mic) and for mixing down (line) whithout having to re-plug every time.
Thnxx

I have a DPD and have the xlr mic input connected to my Sony C800g and a line input from a Gtr signal .... the front has mic input from half past to o'clock clockwise and line input half past to o'clock anti clockwise on both channels ....
Hope this helps - the one been used (line or mic) disables depending on what your using (input level)

Another question:
Can I plug the insert to a Patch bay or does it interrupt tue signal?

It interrupts the signal so you just need to normal the patchbay and it will be fine.
