Adamcal, what are you using as overheads? Are those Geffels??
Looks like a cool setup, do you process the FOKit mic going to your recorder?

Yes they are geffels, and as for the FOK, sometimes I do sometimes I dont, but if I do it usually a 1176 set to stun, but also the Dynamite is an awesome sound.

Yes that is Mr. Swedien's treatment on Omar Hakim's drums, as posted on the Royer Labs website.

Setting up, back in with my spec deal turned good, to record EP 2.

Drummer pictured.

Note: screens belonged to John Entwistle untill recently + glass bricks let light in but keep our sound from getting out!

floor tom side ambience mic M149 again, facing away from kit to corner, in farther vocal booth (unused during tracking) Senn 441 pointing away from door & kit.

M149's - SPL transient designer - Distressors (no mic pre's needed)
Senn 441 Mic pre / SPL Transient Designer

The usual suspects in terms of mics, but they're all suspended using the Sabra Shock Mounts and Sabra T-Mounts
