with all due respect, hearing examples is going to be totally meaningless.

to get a true idea you need to use them both with a variety of material and situations and more importantly alongside the original sound. if you dont how do you have any clue as to how or what they are doing?

if you are considering them, get them both in on a demo and assess them critically in this period.

THx for letting me listen Great mixes. Anyway i know i have to run my crap to really hear what im getting. But i will only record heavy gutairs. And i can tell if i like the color. Just by hearing it. I know that sounds crazy.

Lets say i know ramsa Da7 has great converters. i DO ONT LIKE THE COLOR OF IT. For my music. lavry are nice and i can hear that. NIce clarity

Can anybody post anything with heavy gutairs with mytek?

or maby dac 1 or hedd if not to much trouble?

I didn`t think it was rude.

I would tend to agree with Neil though. With any piece of gear you really have to put it through it`s paces with the kind of music YOU do in the room your used to working in to see if it`s going to help you.

Than again both these converters are great so if hearing some samples of them steers you one way or the other it`s not as if your going to be dissapointed when you get it. Better than picking one because you like the color better or something.

I have a mytek. I really like it and it`s bit more affordable but I`d love to check out the Lavry one of these days.
