Tube options for Manley Ref C

I have a Manley Ref C and as much it's great for pop vocals, it is a little too bright. I have a Sony C800G and generally like it's sound, but would like to get the Manley slightly warmer.
General chain is AMS 1073 + CL1B which I am happy with.

Would love to know some suggestions for Tubes (NOS Mullard etc) and experiences and comparisons.

Thank you!!

If you're looking for warm, definitely go with the Mullard. There's a thread somewhere around here, where we touched on this in more detail.

Oh yeah, I have the Mullard as well...

There arent many better options for a 12ax7 than a Telefunken. But I have used a NOS JAN Phillips 5751 and got fantastic results as well.
