Thread Starter | inovonics 201 vs DBX 160x
can only really afford to have one compressor in my studio. have the 160x - am thinking the inovonics 201 might be more versatile, so thinking about selling the DBX to help fund the 201. is that a good idea? drums (sampled ones, not live) are my focus. know the 160x is widely considered great on snare, but I hear the 201 is great on drums too, plus might be more versatile in general. so... DBX or Inovonics? thanks for peoples previous help with opinions re the 201, it sounds VERY good!! |

I LOVE the inovonics 201 But if I could only have one comp it would be the 160x. It's got less wow factor but it's solid on tons of sources. |

how about purely on drums - one comp just for drums out of the 2 of these? that my last question I promise |
