Orpheus/Grace Design wordclock?

Hi all,

I have a Prism Orpheus going into a Grace Design 904b, using a ADAT cable.
Never had a click/pop or any trouble syncing the two.
Do I need to have a wordclock cable between them?
Will that improve the sound?

'cause it's pretty amazing sounding as it is.

I apologize for these "stupid" questions, but I haven't had the time to read much about wordclock. So I would appreciate a simple yes/no reply, and maybe a link to a "learn about wordclock" site.

Thanks,
Freddy

You don't need to, but maybe you'd like it even better. Get yourself one cable for the wordclock and try it out. Won't cost much.

Thanks for the reply deft_bonz.
I borrowed a cable and tried, but no difference, whatsoever.
That settles that for me;-)

The Grace will clock right off of the Orpheus Digital signal and has an excellent re-clocking system. Don't even worry about it.
