Thread Starter | CROWLEY & TRIPP STUDIO VOCALIST???
Hi, have narrowed my search down to a few mics- one of which is the c&t studio vocalist ribbon mic. Have any of you producers used this? and, if so, on what sources-i'm primarily female soft vox and rappers. Please advise!.......... |

in my relatively limited experience with it (3-4 sessions a few months back), the studio vocalist is a wonderful mic for both male and female vocals for dynamic ballad kinda singing. i also seem to remember liking it flipped around on a 1x12 tweed amp. it's got a very smooth response from top to bottom, really insane high frequency stuff for a ribbon.
