How far different are these two ?
I use to have 20asl but sold it
now regret when i heard many mixed i've done on it before
thinking about to get it back but don't have budget now for the active version
consider the passive one

They use the same drive units, but in a different cabinet. It can be very close, but you need to make sure to have a good amplifier. Just like your mix, you will know it if your amp doesn't sound good.
