PCM96 vs. Native Bundle

How is the PCM96 compared to the Lexicon Native Bundle? I get the impression they are quite similar parameter vise but how about audio processing power.

Of course a modern CPU will outperform the DSP of a PCM96 but since the computer can only use a very limited amount of it's processing power for a plugin I guess there are PCM96 is superior anyway.

Any opinions on this?
