I agree with your description. I think it sounds pretty close to the OP's OTB16/Lynx/HEDD example, but slightly warmer/punchier/less compressed. More wide/3D than my earlier Folcrom mixes. Must be the 690 op amps and the Cinemag output transformers. Plus a well made "Virtual Earth" design. Cheers, J~

So, assuming your audio is at normal levels and doesn't exceed full scale, converting from 32 bit float to 24 bit integer just means dropping the exponent and leaving the 24 bit mantissa unchanged. No dither required. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I can tell 32 bit float provides the same resolution as 24 bit audio, and the only advantage is the huge amount of headroom above unity.
