| Gear addict | Isolation for monitor control
Hi people, bit of a techy problem here, ive got a Coleman passive monitor controller, with my main inputs being fed from my converters. Ive got what I think is some kind of ground loop or DC floating round my cables... anyway i sometimes get almost a 'radio esq' and scratchy, fuzzy kind of noise in one of my channels now and again, its quite faint... but certainly enough to p"ss me off. Also when I turn my volume control/attenuator on the unit, there is slight crackly and poppy glitches as it turns, its fine while resting. My question is if a pair of transformers between the converters out 1-2 , and the Colemans input L + R, would solve this...? Not too sure but need a solution Thanks for reading |
