Thread Starter | Soundelux U95 Technical Question
Hi all, I have a problem with my soundelux u95, the output transformer on the mic appears to be bad. I was wondering if anyone knew what type of output transformer came stock on the microphone, as a secondary question, if anyone has any suggestions for an upgraded transformer that is better quality (but will keep the same sound or at least very close in sonic characteristics) I would really appreciate it. Thank you all! -Chris |

I have two U95s mics, and after checking just now, I can't see any identification on the transformers. One's original and one was made for me three months ago. I asked David Bock to make one and he had the parts. Presto! Sorry I don't have any info on the tranny, but I'm sure he'll service it for you. He's a nice guy, too! -A

Thanks for checking and for the reply, I love my U95. Do you have any contact info for Bock? If you could PM it to me I would be really grateful as my mic is just a very expensive paper weight at the moment! Next on the list, an e47. Thanks again! -Chris |
