SSL 4000 Total Recall Help!

Hi!

We´ve got a problem with a SSL4000E with G computer and the Total Recall (Automation works fine, faders, cut etc and its syncing perfect)
I´ll try to explain as good as I can!

Only a few "Objects" are working, I ran the TR object test, and strange things happen there, pressing i.e LINK button (object 46) results in object 63, 70 (HF, LMF filters) is engaged aswell.
Pressing the CH OUT in the Dynamics section (object 57) engages object 67 (HI BELL) and (LO BELL).
For a picture on all objects on the channel and what happens when pressed follow this link ******//www.dreamix.se/SSLTR.jpg

And ALL 56 channels has the same pattern, not just one channel!

I´ve also done some comparision between the 100% working objects, the not working at all objects, and the ones that also engages other objects!
And there is some logic in this madness of whats happening, I can post this results if any kind soul want to take a look!
The TR computer seems to display the channels and let you set the right values (only for the ones thats still working that is)

The SSL technician wont be here for another 3 months so I thought I´d give it a try and narrow this down, Im not a total noob on this

Any suggestions how to approach this problem, perhaps someone could give tips on helpful people to turn to for advice?

It's possible that this particular reel disc ended up with some corrupt information. Try formatting a new reel disc and test a brand new recall. Hopefully it's something this simple.

If you can't get it call Bruce Millet at Desk Doctors.

I would probably suspect the TR bus Driver which is on the back of the keyboard.
One of the bits is probably not firing.
If you're fluent with a meter, you can run the TR bit test.
!tes <execute>
setup<execute>
TR bit test <execute>
(pretty sure that's the sequence)
you have to toggle the number keys 1-7 and measure the output of the opto isolators on the TR bus driver card.

I'm sure bruce will b able to help you.

Thanks for all replies!

I got the same advice to check this board under the keyboard, I havent measuring it so far, just switched places with all 6 opto`s, and the mux opto with the add! Also tried with a new cable from the keyboard to computer but the pattern is still the same, nothing has changed at all so Im beginning to suspect the TR computer :/

I think I´ll have to get in touch with Bruce on monday.

I tried to find a pattern in this and it doesnt seem to be random, if you can understand my writings here you possibly can spot something?

The i.e underlined Obj27 is what I´ve pressed and beneath is what also is engaged when pressing the object in the total recall test! And the pattern is the same for all channels!

Frustrating, but many thanks for trying to help guys! Much appreciated!

Ok, I found the problem!

Took the channels out for cleaning every slot in the console, one by one while in TR test mode and after taking module 11 out it started working again, blew some with the air compressor in the slots and putted all channels back and it still works so no further help needed
