Not much here about the U73 comps. Does anyone know the differences between the U73, U73a, U73b, etc? Which is most desirable?

There were 5 different "U73" versions. U73, U73a, U73b, U73bt and U73ts. There was also a U83 which was similar to the U73 but with different presets than the U73. If you go here we have basic information on each unit. To get detailed information (i.e. the preset attack time of a U73), one would have to get the schematics and translate them from German to English. As far as more desirable... Typically folks look for the U73b because it has the most user controls and it sounds good. Joe Hauck AMI, Inc. |
