Did he buy it for you?

Your dad have a great mustache! What do you guys do? Mix your own music in the home studio - I saw some pictures before. Do your dad record and mix to?

I would love to have a dad that shared my love for music and studio. You are lucky! Are the studio treated and finished? Or are you still making absorbers?

Tell me/us more... Share more pictures and please get a mustache!

Much love!

lol!

no I couldn't see myself with a mustache.

Yes, he buys the gear and finances the whole thing and we both get to enjoy it. He's brought the studio through many phases the past couple years. This new step is a very big one for us.

Absorbers, ahhhhh 8 left to build. Control room is done, tracking room is almost there. The home studio (basement) doesn't look like a home studio anymore.

Pics soon to come!

thanks for the replies.

and... yes I really cherrish the fact that we share something in common that we are both very passionate about. Much fun!

Families that record together...

My wife is a singer. We did her CD here.

You can read the latest home recording exploits of me and 2 of my 5 sons here:

There's nothing greater than a family that understands and shares my passion. It also helps with equipment purchases!

we have a great bond through recording but I can't keep him from buying crap

I signed him up for TapeOP, maybe he'll develop a healthy (slutty) gearlust
