I can't understand if avalon m5 got an instrument D.I. or not.
Could you please clarify this?

Yes, it does on the back of the unit. However, it's a 500k ohm impedance, which may not be ideal. Typically you want 1 megaohm or greater for the full frequency response of you instrument (this applies to passive pickups, for active pickups, it's not as much of an issue).

I've used the M5 "instrument in" with good success in the past... it can certainly work when needed (although... maybe not it's strong suit).
