I own a lexicon PCM 70 and 90 which I am completely happy with for their difference's. Would the 92 bring something new to the game or would it be redundant?

Lexicon will repair a PCM92, not the others.

Great point. Do you have an opinion on the sonics?

The 92 box has much improved smoother and more realistic and refined reverbs.
Also the newer boxes have digital in/out and high sample rate i/o capability.

All in all a much more sophisticated and capable set up.

Thanks plush. I appreciate the feedback. When I got my 90 I was surprised at how realistic the sounds were. If the 92 is more realistic that would be great. Especially if it has nice realistic small rooms.
