| Almost impossible to imagine my rack without Germs (all three), although it is right choice when some key pres/EQ/comps are already there. Different flavour, but what one It's strange when people compares Germs with anything else, thet don't ressemble typical gears' sonics and being different and still very high-endish makes them great.

How whould you compare the germanium to the TG2 soundwise? PS: I have a TG2 and love it but I haven't try the germ yet. Thanks

they sound similiar yet different at the same time. the germ sounds more "gooey, and less mid pushed" to me than the tg. but if you back off the gain on then they can be made to sound similiar. they both bring on their classic sounds when pushed harder. | |

| I have an original TG1 MK1, so my response MAY qualify. But the the TG is more grainy (in a GOOD way) and the Germ is more creamy. The Germ has more headroom, which isn't better or worse than the TG's lack of headroom.

| Lives for gear | Only because we are lucky enough to have two still left in our stock, it's not something that is an ongoing supply of them. |
