Tube-tech MEC 1A too hot in few minute

Hi ,
I just buy used MEC 1A I like what' this unit do, but It's become hot in a few minutes !!!!

I send some emails to tubetech they don't answer,

Is that regular ?

All gear gets hot..turn it off when youre done to save the tubes..turn it on a half hour before you use it too.

Yes, In 15-20 minutes it becomes very hot!. The Mec is one of my most trusted preamps, absolutely lovely with a fantastic eq a smooth comp.

so it's ok but the bad news is today iy's not working, the fuse is dead
