Thread Starter | Calling all Genex/Desono owners.
There are a lot of threads trashing this company, and with good reason, but I don't really want to get into all that. I just need the software to control some Genex equipment. I have a Gx9048, and I'm looking for the USB GSX Remote Control software. I also have a Mix Engine, and I need the software for that too. I was using the Genex Hardware Remote, and It took a crap on me, and there seems to be something wrong with my CD. Can anyone out there help me out, by getting this software to me somehow? Both the Genex, and Desono websites have been taken offline, so I can't download them anymore, and I have searched far and wide online with absolutely no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Sax, Sorry for you with all these problems. I'm also sorry not to have these softwares for you. The only soft we have is for the Stage IO unit, and it is not the latest version. I wonder if our best bet woudn't be to contact Live nation, as they have a lot of genex systems with Mix engines, 9048s and Stage IO. They might be the only ones to have the latest software ? I'm in France, so it's pretty hard for me to find a way to get in touch with their technical/recording staff. Maybe someone in the US could try something ? All the best, and good luck with all this. Do a search for Yrplace on here... It's Engineer / Producer Mark Linnet. His company is "Your Place or Mine" remote recording. He has quite a few Genex units. (I sold him one of mine along with the remote!) A great guy, and knows just about everything to do with Genex! I hope this helps you out.
