Borrowed a T.C. Electronic M5000; Advice?

So I just borrowed a M5000 from a rather famous trumpet player, and I really have no clue what I'm doing with the thing. I mean, obviously, I can get some sounds out of it, no real problems with the basics, but I was wondering if anyone has any good tips or tricks for me? Thanks a lot in advance.

go to the "gold plate" patch and tweak to your needs. I had and MISS that box.
