Thread Starter | Studio manager position
Hope you all don't mind my using this space to mention this. The time has come for me to begin delegating the running of Capitol Studios Paris to a dynamic, capable, preferably bilingual (English and French) motivated person. My goal is to hire and train the future managing director of the facility. This is a full-time, business-oriented and evolutive position. Other related businesses (tour management/production, concert promotion, new studio developments/purchase, pro audio import/distribution) may in time come under the future manager's responsibility. Remuneration will be based on responsibility, performance and bottom-line results. People, business, communication, administration and organizational skills are essential. Technical skills are a plus. Proficiency with Word and Excel is essential, as is familiarity with Windows and Mac OS. Interested candidates should speak and write very well in French and English and have European or French legal residence & work authorizations. Please email me at jon@capitolstudiosparis.com. Thanks for passing this on to anyone who may be interested.

Any chance that I can do the job for you from my couch in Los Angeles, with no working knowledge of French or high end equipment, and an utter lack of inter-personal communication? Because other than those things, I'd be perfect for the gig. hope you find your guy. sounds like a great job. -sm

Way to go Jon .... great to hear you've reached the 'fulltime manager status' facility. Funny thing realy , the manager thing came up in a discussion the other day and Capitol Studio's crossed my mind. Remember actually wondering how long before you would go that way. Good luck getting a good one.

Hey Jon, I didn't realize French was so similar (in fact, equal) to English !! Check your links on your website. Cheers
