Oh how I love my TG-2 !

I'm in a session tracking guitars right now and once again I'm amazed at how great my TG-2 is for this- no EQ, and very little compression-So smooth and silky!Does anybody else share a love for this great piece of gear?

I got 4 channels of em (two MKII's & TG2) getting 4 more as well. They are exactly the balance I like of bottom end, presence, and punch. There are pres with more bottom, more presence, and more punch - but I like the balance of these. So since they were my fav pres, I decided to use em for everything and don't bother mix matching (to each his own eh).

U gotta try the TG2 on kit OHs .... I've been using the 3 mic technique (Well ok, I stick a e604 on the snare just incase ...) The TG2 thru a rosetta 200 @ 88.2Khz is the bomb !!!! Just drive the inputs of the TG2 till it tastes j u s t right

Funny-as much as I love them on gtrs-I don't like them on OHs-I prefer my APIs for that-But on a snare and/or squishy room mic it totally rocks!

Same here, I like the MP-2NV more on OH, TG2 lives on snare for me (when tracking drums anyway).
