I'm aware of the EMT 140 steel plate and the EMT 240 gold foil plate, but isn't the EMT 250 a digital unit?

I dunno about what you could get for an 8 bit digital plate reverb... but I got a Harley for my wife. Pretty good trade doncha think?

Depends on the wife. A good one is worth at least two Harleys.

And to the poster's original question. It really depends on the occasion and how intimate you are with the EMT in question. Candlesticks are always nice.

Maybe but with the Harleys if you don't want to listen to em, ya just turn the key off

Assuming you are talking about the 250 "R2D2" digital delay, they sell for anywhere from $7-13K, depending on condition, finding the right buyer, and the motivation of the seller.
