Anybody using 2 Pendulum Audio Quartet II Mercenary Edition

Anybody using 2 Pendulum Audio Quartet II Mercenary Edition's for stereo bus or anything else ? It seems with 2 of these units you would have everything you need for tracking and recording on stereo bus am I wrong ? The question would then be how is the sound and is it worth the price for 2 of them ?
Thanks

The Q2 is probably one of the most insanely musical, overbuilt, 4 element, ridiculously versatile recording channel's around. I have never heard anyone complain about these on program material. What are you looking for ROC? This is a lot of money to drop, but I'll be damned if its gonna suck for anything.

Spendy, but no compromises. Also remember that you'd have separate access to each individual element so it's more like buying 8 pieces of gear instead of 2.

I'm looking for 2 pristine channels of mic pre, EQ , Compressor to record into DAW and to put my whole mix through to be recorded .I always thought channel stripes where great but the problem is you only get 1 channel . Doesn't it make sense to get 2 pristine channels instead of multiple channels with plug ins am I wrong does anybody work like this (BTW I use a-lot of outboard gear). Your right very pricey .

If you can afford two GML 2032, your done. If you can't perhaps buy two of his mic pre's. The mic and pre is the start of your chain and most important. You can save for other hardware later or just use linear compressors and EQ plug ins.

8 pieces of versatile gear, with switchable input trafos/impedance, as well as the different modes of EQ and compression. 8 pieces of independent accessible gear, but many more sonic capabilities I'd imagine.

They will be incredible, and allow for just about any color you'd want to impart.
