600 (HD3 TDM + RTAS) is 11.5 times more than 52 on the UAD.

I could can less about Giga Flops - how many plug-ins can I run?

my only point before is that with the sessions I need after 20 Plug-ins My UAD Quad Satellite runs out of DSP. Contrary to misinformed around here as a UAD owner the Quad is pretty lame on DSP power.
Can we take this rather interesting subject to a seperate thread, because it is off topic.
But again Sherlock you can run 552 plugins with UAD quad + RTAS .

You can´t tell people UAD quad is lame compared to TDM accel because BOTH are lame compared to todays native CPU´s.

Try to count how many Softube FET compressor (1176) TDM instances you can have on your HD3 system VS 88 mono UAD 1176LN instances on a UAD quad. Now the UAD quad looks pretty powerful compared to your TDM system.

Odd....I haven't had any issues with this. Well yet at least. Only had mine for a couple of weeks. Upgraded to latest firmware as soon as I got it.

355 Softube Fet Compressors on My HD 3 system (plus room for more) - and Yes I can tell people how limited the DSP the UAD Quad is because I own 2 of them and with the Plug-ins the I USE I am limited to 24 plugins (Manley M.P./Studer/Fatso) with one UAD Quad.

How about the Black Lion Audio FM192? One can get some pretty cheap 192s used now, but of course the mod costs some serious money, $4500 + shipping for a 3 card interface.
