An idea for a dual preamp...

I have this idea for a preamp (forgive me if there is something like this already)

This preamp would technically be 2 preamps sections that you can blend together via a crossover circuit but not only can you choose at what frequency these preamps cross over, but you can choose how many frequencies the blending occurs.

IE: Set your cross @ 2000hz, but set the blending width to 2000hz. So the blending would take place from 1000hz to 3000hz as an example.


I don't know..just an idea.

Another idea would be to make a box that just does the crossover summing, that way you could use your existing preamps and mix and match the various frequency ranges from each one...

Interesting idea though... I like that people out there are still thinking.

One idea would be for bass guitar. To get a different sound on the higher bass frequencies then the low frequencies
