I would like to know if someone had the chance to test both...

The Lake People is not that common here...

Didn't heard the Black yet but I liked the Lavy Blue a little better than the LP C440. But to my ears the differences are very subtle. Both converters are exellent and way better than the AD converters in the RME Fireface800.
