| Lives for gear | Finding piano tuning and fix it!
Ok, Here is the deal; I've got a track of the piano, played by Mike Carson (David Bowie..) and the piano is out of tune when compared to MIDI Tracks. It is tuned down less than a semi-note, but anyway... I'm using Pro Tools V.7. Can I anyhow determine exact how much the piano is out of tune? Any tool can help me with that, beside listening and tuning the guitar with the piano and figure it out on the tuner after? (Client wants some kind of tool to do that for us...) And also, what is the best tool in PT for tunnug up the track to 440? I know that is pain in the **s, and sound gets squashed, but we can split up the track on small pieces and tune them separetly. Any tip on that? Greatly apreciated any help
