Thread Starter | Vintage Swedish SELA and PEARL tube mics Hi. In the recent Pearl thread someone were asking for pictures of some vintage Sela and Pearl mics that i own. So, here they are. Sela bought their capsules from Neumann and built their own mics. They are quite small, like mini U47´s, and are cardiod only. The Sela T24´s have the M7 capsule and the later T25 have the KK47 capsule. Both have the AC701k tube. The Pearl mics i have are: In the back is a DC-73 (the long one, non tube condenser) The one at the front in the green case is a C-12k (AC701k tube, rectangular capsule, cardiod only with bass cut). The two on the left is a pair of 8-CK (again AC701k tube, and switchable between omni, figure 8 and cardiod). Please note the groovy leather case for the 8-ck!!! Needless to say, all of these mics sonds great!!!!! Enjoy! Sela mics front Sela mics back Sela T24 inside front Sela T24 inside back Pearl mics |
