Thread Starter | How to use the "volume" and "pad" controls in the A Designs MP2A preamp?
This tube pre has cought my attention. Can somebody please explain how to use the volume and pad controls? The preamp's gain is fixed at 60 dB. If I go it right, the "volume" pot is actually an input attenuator, which is basically the same thing a a pad. But what do I need the -20 dB pad for then? |
