Their market will be a small group of people able to pay, but even rarer will be those also WILLING to pay for the whole nut. It would become another project selling off the stuff you don't want. I think they'd do better if they sold pieces individually.

I love the way in the UK they can call this thing a "tube spring reverb". Which of course means that although its electronics are entirely solid state (believe me, I used to own one...) - not a "valve" in sight, it is housed in a large black PVC cylinder (hence "tube").

But... at least it is stereo, so perhaps the lucky new owner won't be too disappointed!

Hi
In Britain we can call it a 'tube reverb' because a glass electronic amplifying device is a valve (one of several applications of the word valve) not an American tube.
What fun eh!!

Wonder what kind of condition the tubes in those Fairchild 660s are in. One would like to think this stuff is in tip top shape, being from EMI and all, but who knows when it changed hands and when it was last serviced. hey, maybe everyone will be scared off and someone will get the deal of the century.

Yes. In fact, for just a modest fee, I'd be happy to clear all that stuff away for them, so they won't have to worry any more.

All or nothing. All I can say in this day and age. GOOD LUCK AMIGO!!!

If it was my gear. I would sell it piece by piece. To get more profit requires more work thumbsup

This is history. Never before has so many studios closed in one decade. We will all look back 10-15 years from now after some computer geek figures out how to put the Piracy to a halt. And say "Do you remember the Piracy DAW Days?" "When studios were selling off rooms filled of vintage analog gear?"

I had to shut down a studio one time and pieced out the gear, only to realize that several prized units ended up in my office and at home and never offered for sale. Something about loving the sound and mojo of certain pieces made me keep them. I'm curious what the owner here kept out of this sale?
