Apogee AD8000 where's the sound?

Hi all
I have the following:
PC (Cubase)--->Lynx AES card (DB26 to 25)--->AD8K w/ DAC VIII (DB25 to XLR Snake)--->Studer 169

I'm having trouble getting audio from the DAC VIII through the board. I suppose it's the Lync card's routing, a setting on the DAC VIII or something in Cubase.

Any one with experience with this gear feel free to chime in.

Thanks!

The logic on that box defies analysis. I have one also, and a single call to Apogee got me all straightened out.

Send a message via AIM to pan
You have propably the "source/dest(ination)" onthe AD8k set up incorrectly.

Hold it down for a longer time to switch the basic setting to get access to the routing matrix.

Source routes Analog ins to all Digital Outs and DAC8.
Dest lets you choose, which signal will be sent to DAC8.

How do you fix a terrible snare sound?
The answer is, a hit single. (Thanks, Trina)

Thanks I'll try that stuff also I'm gonna pop open my PC and make sure the Lynx jumpers are set right.
If that fails I guess I'll have to call Apogee.

works

Thanks PAN that was half the problem like you said. The other was moving the jumpers on the card. Then it was just a matter of assigning the outs in Cubase.
