Thread Starter | Lexicon PCM Navite Reverb Bundle & Lexicon LXP Native Reverb Bundle
What is the difference between these 2 Plug Ins? I know that the PCM Native has 7 Algos and the LXP Native only 4. I realy like the PCM Native and compared to the hardware it´s not too expensive. But maybe I only need the LXP. The music I do most is Rock a sort of Punk and Pop. What do you think? |

They sound different. Demo them and hear for yourself.

For clean reverbs I have the Aether 1.5 (using 2x usually) along with the Waves IR1. I also use Cubase's Reverence which is also good. Although there are some great high end hardware reverbs, the Aether does it for me for clean reverbs. It's that good. Anyway I want to get the Lexicon sound. now according to this LXP Native Reverb Plug-in Bundle & PCM Native Reverb Plug-in Bundle Comparison | Lexicon Pro both the Full Native and LXP have the same reverbs, it is just that the LXP has only 4 to choose from and you can't customize the tail width and less control on the EQ. I am correct that the reverb quality's on both for room or hall is exactly the same? Anyone compare the LXP with the UAD Lexicon? Also the Lexicon site says their reverb is 64 bit, but I heard on other threads that their Native is not. What is the update for May 2011 on this issue? |
