A pair of 811453c's came up locally, and I'm considering them for tracking a stereo synth that I don't use for bass. Did anyone try the 811453c for such or similar purpose? How did the hi-pass work for you, and did you regret not getting a non-hipass version? Odd question perhaps, I just never had to consider working with a fixed locut, but still I'm curious to try the preamps

I've decided I can't use the amps in every session with a locut at 100hz, I wonder if I could simply bypass the locut with a minor operation?
