I have an ADT C Series console at my dayjob. That´s the best desk I ever worked on (including SSL and Neve), both sonically and flexibility-wise.

I'd love to try one.
Looks like a serious pretender for a new desk purchase.

I think their ToolMod concept is quite great. Similar to API 500 series but cheaper. But obviously limited to only one manufacturer

Will demo a ToolMod system this year.

Nice!

I've been looking at the ToolMod system. I would really appreciate if you make some audio files so we can listen to it, since I haven't found a singe audio file to hear it once.

I just found out that the german site have more info (in german ofcourse). Like their new (?) DAW audio workstation 5MT "Blackbird":

die analoge Audio Workstation zur DAW

Ofcourse they have differnet modules as well. Anyone know they have a PDF showing every module they manufacture? These guys amaze may all the time with "new" stuff the more I look deeper in their sites.

Digging through their website is like proper treasure hunting adventure, the more you dig the more you find!

Dude you really need to get a couple of modules and work with them for yourself. I never did get this whole listening to sound files on the internet thing. Listening to sound files can't tell you what it's like to actually work with the unit, and is lower down the pole than wanking as far as I'm concerned.

There are lots you can't tell about a piece of gear just by listening to a sound file on the internet, especially a recording you know nothing about. Do people actually make buying decisions based on this?

Guys, you need to understand that ADT is primarily a custom shop at heart and they will build anything you ask for and can afford. So they end up making many versions of 'standard' pieces.
