Looking for a recording studio in Berlin 500-700€ a day

I have an album producing gig booked for next march for a band from Berlin, Germany and I recon it will make sense for me to fly in instead of flying the band.
so here is what I'm looking for:
A Studio with GREAT acoustic, this is the first and most important! the kind of music is acoustic pop/rock, the band gonna preform live, therefore:
the studio most have a big room with a nice live acoustics for drums/percussion
a big booth where the singer going to sing and play acoustic guitar at the same time (so no 2x2m dead acoustic cabinets please...) and at least one small booth for guitar amp (preferably 2 so i can also amp the bass).
the equipment is less important as it going to be strictly tracking gig and I'll bring in plenty of mics and pres and even my nuendo rig (though a studio with nuendo or cubase sx will save me some pain...), saying this a good console is a plus and a good monitor situation in the control room is a must.
the budget is 500-700€ a day, we going to record 5-7 days but the maximum budget will be 4000€

cheers,
J. Kasach

you should get in touch with "tritonus" in berlin-kreuzberg. their facility definitely meets your requirements.
i've been there a few times (as a visitor) - it's a great space.

their address:
tritonus tonstudio
schlesiche str. 31
d-10997 berlin

Is your price with or without a soundengineer from the studio? If it is without then you could check teldex studio Berlin. It will be a little more expensive, but you should check, for that many days who knows... it could fit your buget.

The Big Live room is huge (400 m2) but with a classical acoustic for orchestra, not suitable for your needs (And it needs to be paid separately). But then there is a "Living Room" behind the Control-Room, that is still bigger than many Recording room, and this room has a nice and livly acoustic yet a very controlled one. They did the Drum recordings of Ramstein in that room. Then you have 2 Iso Boots with a good acoustic. The Controll-Room is a SSL-9000 Room, and the Mic Selection is almost as amazing as in Abbey-Road, almost every vintage mic there that one could dream of.

wow.....thx for the audiobau.net link...great never seen it before...cool guy

but that studio seems to be the private place of jens from "wir sind helden"...I actually ment "freudenhaus studio" in berlin-kreuzberg owned&run by patrik majer
(producer->wir sind helden, rosenstolz etc.) I was told it was a well known studio that he bought. he also installed the first SSL AWS900 in germany there.

geez I have to do a big studio-tour next time I´m in berlin!! so much more too see...

thx&cheers tom
