Surround monitors suggestions needed

I'm having my home studio designed and I need to decide which monitors I am going to use.

Right now I am using a pair of Adam S3-As. and NS10s Would it be o good idea to buy 3 more Adams plus a sub?

I can also sell the Adams and buy a complete monitor setup.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

i can highly recommend the blue sky systems. their 5.1 system has worked well for me, and has translated well to theatrical, DVD, CD, etc.

not sure if that is "high end" enough for you, but i have no complaints.

If you like the Adams and have the budget for them go with it! The Blue systems have some good press, but they are way budget by comparison with the Adams.

Regards

Roland

P.S. Michael Wagner has (I believe) an Adams S3-A surround set up.

I agree with Roland, keep the S3As and get another 3 if you can afford it. Can't comment on the ADAM sub, I use the M&K 5410. The system translates really well to the ouside world. But if you have S3As, you know that already.

I do have the ADAM sub (with 5 S3A's) and it's really amazing. Very tight and accurate (2-10 inch ). It's REALLY powerful, output-wise, the hardest part is keeping it turned down low enough! I'm using mine with an M&K LFE4 for bass management, but the sub does have onboard X-overs for L and R.
They're like the S3A's in that they have that dynamic thing...

Eduardo, if you've got the buget, go with the whole ADAM system, you won't be dissappointed.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I think I'll keep the Adam's and then buy the other 3 + Sub

Michael, how's that Metal surround project you were working?
I saw the post too late to ask for a copy. When will it be on sale?

Thanks again
