I forgot the model number. But it sounds interesting to me; it was written up as being the darkest of the available ribbon mics. Steep roll-off at 8Khz. Anyone have any experience with one?

I believe it's exactly the same as the Oktava ML52... I have two of those and have found them to be great on horns (especially trombone), good for creating thick electric guitar tones and too dark for drum overheads or vocals. Certainly not as flexible as a Royer, but an interesting mic for the money.
