David Mead - "Mine And Yours" (2001)

Great sounding album with nice room sounds, produced by Adam Schlesinger and recorded by John Holbrook

Anyone know anything about the recording/mixing process?

I love the bass on "Echoes of a heart" ... A Ricky perhaps?

No... but I think he and Angie Apiro are tied (with Angie often having a slight lead) in my book for most AMAZING male vocalists living today.

I got to open for a band David Mead was singing in here in Nashville years ago... I will never forget hearing him while I was packing up my gear and rushing out to see who it was and being so enthralled that I completely forgot about everything else... including the fact that I left my car unlocked. Fortunately nothing was stolen...

Yeah... Got to see his 3-piec in London and the engineer brought along a Sequis Motherload speaker sim to plug D.M.'s Fender twin into, and what an amazing sound... Danelectro and Tele into a Cranked Twin! No mics on the cabs, and the on-stage volume was quite low!
