A long time coming - our Neve "8028" install is finished

After a couple months of construction and about a year and a half of restoration (Dave Clark and Eric Slaughter), we finally finished our 60-channel custom 80 series Neve install. While we were at it, we had Art Kelm from Ground 1 re-do the power and wiring in the studio. I am more than satisifed with the results!!!

Teaser pic attached.

So glad this is done!

freakin' gorgeous. is my depth perception shot, or are those ns10's a little too close together?

did you notice my clever use of criticism to deflect attention away from my raging jealousy?

Jesse,

These are Dynaudio C4's. They probably use them as mains or as mastering speakers.

visited your website and I spent more time looking at the "space" rather than the console

nice high ceilings you have there, and are those Tabriz rugs in the live room?

sorry for going off topic

It's a mix of modules:
1066, 1073, 1075, 1076, 1084, and we have a pair of Wunders and new Neve 1084s in the frame for some sonic difference. There's also a couple of EQ only modules (2073s) and a pair of 32264 comps in there. I'm going to replace the EQs with some other 1073s we have pulled for repair, I think.

How are things?

Best,

Jason

All The Best,
You got it.
I really like these, we do use them as mains.
You can't really see this in the picture, but those top sections are sitting on big bass cabs.
We also have subs for the Genelecs and NS10s down there.

Art is one of my favorite people in the business.
A true gentleman and great at his craft.
I had a great time working with him on this project.

Thanks for the kind words.
I honestly don't know who made the rugs.

I remember hearing them 3 years ago at the Hi Fi/Audiophile convention here in NYC.

They sounded fantastic and were the hit of the whole convention.

Even back then i remember them as an option for a mastering speaker.
