hifi patchbays?

So Im getting ready to wire up my studio and im looking into patchbay options. I've had the wonderful experience of hearing/owning a lot of different high quality cables and the sonic integrity of cables/connections is something i believe in whole heartedly! im worried about all that quality bottle-necking at the patchbay. Sonically, whats my best bet? TT? 1/4 inch? brand? make?
thanks!

I use the DB25/TT bays from Redco, as I move my gear between rooms often enough to make soldering a no go. If you can keep pretty permanent in location and don't mind the work, a hardwired patchbay will save a lot of money.

Yes. I've rebuilt our bays using StudioPatch 9625s and they are very solid. Worth the investment IMO.
