Thread Starter | Does Rosetta 800 Firemix have true zero latency monitoring?
Still finalizing everything for my big upgrade and I was contemplating getting an SPL MTC2381 until I saw that the Firemix software for the Rosetta 800 Firewire card offers true zero latency monitoring of the units analog ins to its analog outs. With 8 outputs that's enough for 2 pairs of monitors and a couple of different cue mixes, and for the time being I could just 'bypass the board' or any other monitor controller and just run straight out of the Rosetta yes? Just want to see if anyone has any issues doing it this way and if it offer true zero latency, as when I record vocals even the slightest delay sounds whacked in my headphones. Thanks, Mark |

i've used it and it seems pretty quick. noticeably better than PT's "Low Latency Monitoring", anyway.
